Our Team
Dr. Yaser Al-Madhagi
Director
Our director holds a PhD in Immunology and brings extensive post-doctoral research experience from multiple universities, including the University of Glasgow. With over 25 years of experience, he has effectively managed large teams of lecturers, assistants, and supervisors throughout his career. His professional journey encompasses diverse roles in quality assurance, pharmaceutical sales and marketing, as well as lecturing and academic positions across various universities.
In addition to his academic and research background, he has contributed as a trustee and earned recognition as a high education manager through the Skills Recognition Scotland Process. His leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to education and humanitarian endeavors culminated in his appointment as the organization’s director in 2022.
Dr. Radia Mohammed
R/D Manager | Co-Founder
Our R/D (Research & Development) Manager| Co-Founder, a Radiologist with a PhD in Diagnostic Radiology, brings a wealth of experience from her 21 years in the medical field and over a decade in humanitarian work.
Her roles include being a program manager, coordinator, facilitator and evaluator for different projects.
She’s also recognized for her expertise in Radiology and Project Management through the Skills Recognition Scotland Process.
David Maclean
Business Advisor
David is a coach, trainer and business consultant, experienced in working in the private, public and third sectors. Working in an open, inclusive and approachable manner, I am passionate to deliver support and guidance to individuals and companies to enable them to grow and develop and achieve their full potential.
Colin Campbell
Business Advisor
Colin Campbell is a Business Adviser, coach and mentor supporting early-stage entrepreneurs to turn ideas into sustainable income. He brings experience across business development, marketing, organisational development, and enterprise education, with a strong focus on practical action and confidence-building. Colin works closely with aspiring entrepreneurs to help them navigate self-employment, build clear business models, and take realistic next steps toward growth.
Eng Abdullah Baagagah
Digital Officer
Abdullah Baagagah is an experienced Digital Engagement Officer at TRH, where he plays a key role in enhancing the organization’s digital presence. His work focuses on expanding TRH’s outreach, increasing community engagement, and supporting entrepreneurs in leveraging social media for business growth. Abdullah is responsible for managing TRH’s online platforms, ensuring that its initiatives effectively reach and impact a wider audience.
With over 15 years of expertise in IT management and business applications, Abdullah brings a strategic approach to digital engagement, combining technical skills with a deep understanding of community development and online communication.
Fatou Taal
Community Engagement Officer
Fatou is a dedicated professional in the field of social innovation and entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on fostering inclusive entrepreneurship, social enterprise development, and the empowerment of women and girls. She serves as both a Business & Community Engagement Officer at TRH, where she plays a central role in supporting start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs, with a special emphasis on ethnic minority women. In this capacity, she designs and facilitates entrepreneurial workshops, and collaborates actively with communities and organisations to drive social change through sustainable business practices. Her unwavering commitment to women and girl’s rights is reflected in her interdisciplinary approach to social innovation.
Akram Al Shewki
Business Officer
Akram Al Shewki is a Business Officer at Together Reaching Higher (TRH), specializing in business planning, finance, taxation, and AI-driven strategies. With a background in business and accounting, he has hands-on experience launching and managing ventures.
At TRH, Akram leads workshops on finance, business structures, taxation, and AI, helping entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses. Passionate about simplifying complex concepts, he empowers startups with the knowledge and tools to succeed.
